Richland County Comprehensive Plan

SWWRPC has worked with Richland County to update the county's comprehensive plan. This plan lays out the current conditions for Richland County, and focuses on strategies and actions related to economic development, intergovernmental cooperation, and land use. The plan also provides updated future land use maps for towns under county zoning, which incorporated input from townships. The development of this plan was guided by engagement with local government leaders across the county, as well as the incorporation of recently adopted plans in Richland County.

The public comment period for the plan is open through Tuesday, January 14. Written comments can be directed to myself through Monday, January 13.

The Richland County Executive Committee will review the comments received following the public hearing, which will be held on Tuesday, January 14 at 5:00 pm in the Richland County boardroom, located on the 3rd floor of the Richland County Courthouse at 181 W. Seminary Street, Richland Center, WI 53581.
