Southwest Transit Team (SWTT) is a collaboration of transit providers in Southwestern Wisconsin. The group meets every other month to share ideas and insights into transit provision in the region.
Regular members of the group include Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, and Richland counties; Southwest Opportunities Center; Hodan Center; and Southwest CAP’s LIFT program. While these are the regular members, SWTT welcomes any transit provider (public or private) operating in the region to attend these meetings. SWTT meetings are coordinated by SWWRPC as part of their annual Wisconsin Department of Transportation Planning Work Program.
The Southwest Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission and the Southwest Transit Team are looking for your feedback on how to improve transportation coordination within Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, and Richland Counties. Meetings are held in each of the five counties. You are invited to participate!
Assessments of transportation needs and gaps gathered at these planning meetings will develop the Coordinated Transportation Plan for each of the five counties in Southwest Wisconsin. These plans will influence transportation decisions in your community and the use of state and federal funds for the next five years, and help improve the service you receive!
