Sinsinawa Land Stewardship Plan

From 2013 to 2016, SWWRPC facilitated a Strategic Planning and Land Stewardship Implementation project with the Dominican Sisters at Sinsinawa Mound, located in southern Grant County. These plans resulted in a holistic, long-term vision for how the Sisters can steward their vast natural resources in a manner consistent with their social and ecological values.

 

Under the guidance of the Dominican sisters, and with the assistance of a variety of partners and leaders in the fields of agricultural, conservation, natural resource management, planning, and anti-poverty issues, SWWRPC has built off of the Strategic Plan for Sinsinawa Mound Land Resources (2013-2014) and completed the Land Stewardship Plan for Sinsinawa Mound (2015-2016).
