Exploring how the Tri-State region can better tap into the $100 billion food market of the upper Midwest.

Project Produce is exploring the feasibility of scaled-up fruit and vegetable production in the Tri-State region. With raising gas prices and challenged subsidization, our food market is changing.  Our partnership is dedicated to exploring how theses changes may create new economic opportunities for our region, and we are dedicated to assuring that our region is ready to meet those opportunities.

Funded by a USDA Rural Business Opportunity Grant, Project Produce is a project of Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, East Central Intergovernmental Association in Iowa, and the Tri-County Economic Development Alliance in Illinois.
